2024 was a milestone year for Bellew Electrical as we shared exciting news about the future of the company following our partnership with Waterland Private Equity. Headed in Ireland by Laura Dillon, Waterland is an independent private equity group set up 24 years ago in Holland with over €14 billion in assets under management. The group acts as an active shareholder in its portfolio companies, working in close partnership with management to drive their strategic development, performance and growth trajectory.
Led by Group CEO Oliver Bellew, Bellew Electrical, Wesco Electrical, and Cable & Accessories have joined forces to create the Bellew Group. This union ensures better service, enhanced stock availability, and expanded product ranges for our customers. With our 80,000sq ft distribution centre & HQ, and our 14 Branches, we look forward to expanding our product offerings further, continuing to provide our first class service, and ensuring we have the stock and expertise to meet the growing needs of new and existing customers.

Bellew’s has four outlets located in Drogheda, Dundalk, Castleblayney and Crossmaglen. The company have just opened a Central Distribution Warehouse in Dundalk. Since it was established 18 years ago, Bellew Electrical has grown to become one of the largest independent electrical wholesalers in Ireland.

Founded in 1972, Wesco Electrical currently have four outlets in Drogheda, Navan, Newbridge and Naas. Wesco Electrical has a diverse customer profile servicing clients all over Ireland and abroad with a strong emphasis on industrial, domestic, commercial and security products. In 1980 Wesco opened its first lighting showroom trading as The Light House.

C&A was established in 1984, as a local Electrical Wholesaler to service the contracting industry in L/Derry, and has now grown to the largest independent electrical wholesaler in Northern Ireland. We have access to all the main stream electrical manufacturers, from cable to lighting, at prices that make us a competitive option for customers. We represent all the leading brands, getting involved in substantial contracts with some of the markets major players.
Our branches are open to serve you from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Feel free to visit us during these times, and we’ll be happy to assist with all your needs!
